The Path To 911: The Rage-Spit is Flying!

The leftwing blogosphere is foaming at the mouth tonight! Here is a quick sampling of the wild wroth and venom circulating the fever swamps right now:

Firedoglake.com’s panties are in a twist! Check out her mellifluously-titled post: Does ABC/Disney Movie Include Bush Allowing Osama Bin Laden to Escape from Tora Bora?

She rants:

I am as furious as I can ever remember being at the moment. LHP sent me a link this morning to a WaPo article, and I only got about seven paragraphs into it before I had to stand up and walk around the house a while before I could read any more of the article.

The fury-drool whips about unabated at Democratic Underground, where they are calling for a boycott of ABC.

Member “ShortnFiery” proclaims with not untypical hubris:

“THEY’RE GONE!”

More alarming, though, is the comment of “Texas Explorer”:

“I’m on board. No more Lost or Extreme Makeover Home Edition and no more Disney or ESPN too.”

No more LOST or ESPN? No more GOOFY?
Damn!

The Beast does not know if anybody would really want to be associated with the movement that wanted to kill Mickey Mouse…

What’s next? Raping Snow White?

The Miniseries is split into two parts, Yucca: the first part, which aired last night, is set in the Clinton Administration and runs from 1993 (the first World Trade Center bombing) to 2000. The second is set during the first eight months or so of the Bush administration and runs up to the 911 attacks.

The theme is more-or-less how everybody screwed up and led to the 911 attacks. Clinton gets a good dose of the preliminary blame and so he and his fellow Dems have objected to the film. They say it is historically inaccurate.

    MrsJoseGoldbloom,

It’s a case of severe overreaction. The nutroots left is harming themselves more than helping, in this Beasts’s humble opinion.

There is a fundamental chronolgical imbalance built into the concept of this movie. Night One encompased seven years of Clinton and Night Two only eight months of Bush. We know that Al Qaeda planned this op for years, all through the Clinton presdency and executed it shortly into the first year of a brand new administration. I don’t think the left, who likes to blame everything on Bush, likes to be reminded that the 911 attacks were basically a Clinton-era op.

I have always felt the attacks were a brought about (in part) because of Clinton’s handling of certain situations in the middle east. Bush hadn’t been in office long enough to be responsible for the attacks.

I hope the Nutroots harm themselves! 😛
